Nice... we had a great time there in the late 90's. We were at the State Park.

Looks like you are staying at Ocean Lakes Campground, and it is just a short walk and you are on the beach! Stayed their several times and had a blast.

Regards,

Reganzo

Our spot was only about 2 spaces from the beach entrance so about 100 feet wasn't that bad. The campground was clean and nice, we did not have a golf cart and that would have been nice just to get around the facility the place is huge. To also say there is a golf cart cruise in every night starting around 6 pm where the families just cruise the facility with the golf carts. If you have kids they would enjoy that.

We were the only airstream out this weekend at Ocean Lakes, Lakeview, Pirates cove, and the state parks. There must have been at least 3,000 + campers out camping. Received several comments on how nice our airstream looked. The camper gleamed in a sea of non airstream campers.

Being the only Airstream in the park is pretty much normal. It has its advantages. We always get positive comments and recently had folks getting their pictures taken in front of our Airstream. Being the only Airstream makes us feel very special.

We are headed to Ocean Lakes Friday for our annual week at the beach trip. Our site is on the very front row, literally just a few steps from the beach.
