Arkansas State Parks Reservation Website

Those of you who camp in Arkansas State Parks may already know this, but there is a new website for reservations. It is not user friendly at all. It still shows campsites as rooms, and does not allow you to view the campsites individually to see which ones are available as the previous one did. You wind up calling the parks instead which is not efficient for them or us. I talked with some park personnel and they said they had forwarded concerns to the State Park Headquarters but their input was not taken seriously. They told me that if enough users would express their concerns directly to the park service they thought it would be helpful. The number to call is: 501-682-7743. I called it and just received a vague statement that they were working on it, but the parks employees I talked with did not feel that any changes were forthcoming.
