Thanks for the good, and fun pictures. It is great for me to see glaciers, parkas, sled dogs, snow covered mountains, and wet pavement. I'm on vacation at the Bonneville Speed Trails in Wendover, UT. It is very hot, the salt is pure white, the air is hazy with wildfire smoke, and it is difficult to get a point of reference while standing out there, a bit like flying in a fog. It takes courage to drive over 200 mph on the salt. It is the polar opposite of your experience.
I thought your readers would like the contrast of scenery. Enjoy...

Currently parked in Ninilchik. AK near Homer. Yesterday was Halibut fishing and it was a good day. Jan caught a 38 pounder and everyone caught their limit. Tonight is the caravan fish fry!

Played some golf in Palmer on a fantastic course. Had some more rain, but that is the norm. On to Valdez today as we start our way South.

Big bears at that. Here in Colorado I see black bears in the backyard from time to time. We have seen more this year that usual. Magnificant animal.
