How far up are you taking the ferry? Really joying the pictures so far. Mind sharing the cost of the ferry?

Ferry was a short hop over to Whidbey Island. Saved us several hours of back tracking and cost is based on size. Our cost was around $75.

First gathering of the caravan yesterday. Tomorrow we start heading north. Dawson Creek isile marker 0 on the Alaska Highway. Running around town getting a free last minute items. Pictures to follow.

Two days at Fort Nelson. Stopped at the Kiskatinaw River Bridge. The only original wood bridge still standing. Some outstanding Cinnamon Rolls and a few shots around town.

Is that like "Kilroy was here" marking? It's funny how folks like to leave their fingerprints on neat places they have been. There is a bar and grill near me called the Buck Snort Inn. It has all kinds of signed dollar pills all over the inside of the establishment. I left one there too.

We have been off the grid with limited internet service for a while. We reached the end of the Alaskan Highway and ate headed to Fairbanks this morning. Lots of pictures of animals.

From Fairbanks we caught a flight to the be Artic Circle and flew back. Still had time to play a round of golf at the North most USGA course in the US.

That place looks like an ice castle. Denali will be spectacular.

We visited the Black Canyon National Park northeast of Montrose, Co. It was a big "crack" in the earth's surface. 2200 feet straight down.

Traveling with our Airstreams is great fun. I like following along with you on your great Alaska adventure.

Danali is not visible due to the weather. Our flight did not go this am, maybe this evening. Tomorrow is s travel day.

Hi: we just left Denali and now in Fairbanks. While there, took tour to end (MP 90). Last Tuesday—clear sky— saw entire mountain.

Hey Richard,

I just got back from a 6+ week round trip Utah to Alaska in my 16' Bambi Sport (with my dog). Incredible trip! I figured I went about 9000 miles - most of the same route you've been taking and explored my way through the Kenai Penisula, hugging the western Canada road route back through the Pacific Northwest. I could recommend places to go all day long but I'll just let ya'll explore on your own and keep posting the awesome photos.
