The USAF museum is a big deal. It is not a breeze through place. You can easily spend an entire day and not see it all!

rperrym, did you decide to keep your April 1 service appointment? We'll be there for Monday, March 31 appt. Apparently it will take all day, perhaps stretch into the next morning.

TinTin, we are still on for April 1, but we are watching the weather hoping it will improve drastically between now and then. We have a route going through Memphis and then north on I-55, then to I-69 to Elizabethtown, Kentucky and on to Cincinatti. If things change, I will send you a message.

If you stop by the AF museum with your trailer watch where you park. A parking lot Nazi ruined our trip there. He was a complete ***hat.

For another must do destination along the way, and I really mean must do....
Google Jingle Jim's in Fairfield Ohio.
I'm not kidding it is the biggest spectacle you can imagine! Plan to visit with an empty fridge/Freezer and pantry. I used to live close it was my grocery store.....
An American treasure for sure!
Only a few minutes off I75.

The USAF museum is a great trip. I used to coach a Midget (15-18 Year old) hockey team and we played a round robin tournament in Dayton every year and one of the things the parents and kids loved to do was visit the museum. Old plans, new plans, volunteers who know what is going on, the ability to sit in some cockpits. But, no dogs and it can take a very long time - totally up to each person, no set visiting rules etc.

Enjoy - weather should be fine, cool - cold at night and pretty nice in the day. Golf courses will be open.

Thanks much for the great suggestions. We will add Jingle Jim's and the AF Museum to our list. I do wish it was later in the spring so we could also take some time to see Kentucky as well as Ohio. But, I would like to get this work done so I can put it behind us and enjoy the new trailer more.

We hope to visit the USAF museum on March 30, the day before our appointment. On March 31 we'll do the factory tour.

A few years ago we visited the museum at Hill AFB, near Ogden Utah, another very good Air Force museum. They have a copy of the Wright Brothers plane, and nearby an SR71 Blackbird. Development of these two aircraft was 50 years apart. Amazing half century.

I found the presidential aircraft display fascinating. This is a separate, still free tour from the main museuem. You have to sign up for a time and take the free shuttle to the hangar on the active part of the base. Best part of the museum, IMHO.

I am concerned that we will have more things to do, things to see, places to go than will be possible in a 10 day trip, but we'll do our best...
