Anyone spending Christmas in their Airstream?

We're thinking of spending Christmas in Tucson. Would love some advice and opinions. This will be our first "long" trip.

Back in 2012 we spent Christmas at an RV Park a quarter mile from Disneyland! The stockings were hung on a clothesline outside and Christmas dinner was held on our picnic table. The big gift for the kids was the 3 day Disney passes but we opened a few presents Christmas morning in the coach which was crowded with all 6 of us!

Last year

I spent Christmas last year driveway camping with my daughter's family because I was threatened!

My nine-year-old granddaughter said I could not go to the RV park because she was NOT going to wait for me on Christmas morning. She gave me the alternative of camping in the driveway or sleeping in the house, but that was it.

So, the family trimmed the tree branches overhanging the drive and I learned how to back the Airstream into a narrow driveway without destroying the neighbors sprinkler system. Previous owner of the house had put in a 30 amp connection and a conveniently-located sewer cleanout.

It worked well, and now I camp there almost every time I visit.

We are looking forward to our first Christmas at our RV park in River Ranch, FL. They say it gets cold (by Florida standards) and we also expect to welcome the new year at the AS.

I have for the last couple of years and plan to this year as well. Family of campers so we meet up at FDR State Park in GA for the holidays. Decorations and all! Thinking of doing Savvanh or Florida this year.

We are thinking of Southern Arizona as well, open for suggestions if anyone have tried it earlier. Hiking and biking would definitely be on the program.

We have been away for the holidays for the last few years and are planning to this year.
There's always a celebration at our clubhouse. We also get together for a meal with friends where we stay.
