We were fixin' to, but my knee went out and I won't be up to all the walkin' and standin' that will be required. I cancelled the reservation that I had at the Ft Meade Fam Camp. Too bad, 'cause I think it will be an outstanding event.

Hi all---I am wondering what event this is, as well. I will be there, dropping my daughter off, and attending the "parent" orientation at Georgetown.
I had debated about bringing the Airstream, but couldn't figure out a place that made sense to stay, and had no idea that something was going on this weekend.......

Lake Fairfax Park is supposedly nice - we're going there tomorrow to check it out for a potential rally. Cherry Hill Park (College Park, MD area) is pricey and may not be convenient enough to where you're going for you.
