Any "last minute" advice on the big trip?

Well, we are less than 2 weeks away from the departure date, we are going from eastern ontario to central alberta, with the trailer, the van, and a 3 and 5 yr old......

The reno on the trailer is nearly done....*whew*.....last year when we got it, we cleaned it and went for a week (on a drive-and-park trip)....all that worked were the lights and the brand new toilet......haha...at least our priorities were straight!!!

Soooo, I know that I should have repair bits and goodies and tools for every system in the unit, and first aid stuff for the inhabitants......and maps....
Can you name 5 things I may have forgotten to add to my list???

thanks!

Take along a fishing rod and a camera and of course a jug of CC. Enjoy the trip and stop often. Getting there is half the fun.

Friends of our's convinced me to buy a 50amp to 30amp pigtail adapter last year. For the $12.- I figured what-the-heck even if it's never used. Last month the 30a outlet at a site we were in was not working. WORTH EVERY PENNY TO HAVE THE ADAPTER!!!

An extra 30 amp pigtail can come in handy. I burned up an plug because of a bad electrical box and had to replace it. I now use the 50 amp if they have it, it seems like they haven't been used as much and are in better shape.

All the above and ear plugs (ear defenders) for the long road trips. You will feel less worn out when you get to your destination.
