Too bad, sad. If you're in an area with wild animals, Florida, national parks, etc, why would you be surprised if there is an encounter with one?

Our best animal story.

Hi, One day we were driving on a country road in Montana. As we rounded the bend in the road, we had to stop because there were about three or four cows in the street. Right after we stopped. a pick-up truck pulled around in front of us and blocked the street. Two cowboys got out of the truck and one of them whistled. Next thing that we saw was a Border Collie that jumped out of the bed of the truck. The Border Collie headed toward the cows. Then the unbelievable part happened; The cows were so afraid of the Border Collie that they all jumped over a barbed wire fence that was about four feet high. I didn't know that cows could jump, but then we saw it with our own eyes.

One of them jumped over the moon, so a fence should be easy. Good story.

Live Bear Cam

My daughter sent this link to me, and it is pretty darn cool to be able to watch the bears catching fish and engaged in other bear activities...live!

Years ago, I became near obsessed with a live web cam in a bear den in Northern Minnesota, and watching a mama bear named Lily care for her newborn cub, Hope.

My Lily was named for that mama bear.

I was going to post this last night, but there were two bears...ummm...involved...for a very long time, and it just didn't seem appropriate that that would be the first thing one saw when opening up the web cam.

Delightful watching, feels like you've just been around the world watching the day to day goings on of animal kingdom.

I just watched this clip on CNN about a cat chasing off coyotes that were attacking a small dog in their back yard.

Ending with pictures of Coyote Vests, available for cats and dogs.

This is one of many for sale on Amazon, in various sizes and colors.

This might be funny if it weren’t a real problem.
