2020 for us.

Four friends have round-tripped it twice from Austin. Now they fly up and rent an RV up there and fly back. This is a great option - too many can't spend two weeks on that highway, let alone getting there. We're watching the thread with interest - best of luck on this great idea.

A question is can you ride on the ship and leave your TV attached to the trailer?

Wow! That would be so awesome! Noobies with a 2018 20’ FC. we are planning an Alaska trip without our AS due to the long drive time. Would love to be able to take it!

Close-out

Just to wrap this up: I did talk with TOTE's marketing folks last month; no words back this way. It is still an option if you get here and can't make the return trip for some reason - but no group price deals so far. If it changes, I will post.

Friend I talked with this week, is driving his truck and his camper (20ft) to Bellingham and catching the ferry up to Hains, 2.5 days-$2800 with outside stateroom. I would guess we are still looking at $5K+ price for our rig...Think I will just pass on this method and drive up/back next May/June... $5K buys a lot of fuel, food, and overnight adventures
