Airstreams at Fort Wilderness
I just returned Friday from a 3 week vacation at Disney s Fort Wilderness in Florida. I like to ride the camp loops at least twice a day while I'm there and was surprised to see that Airstream was well represented this trip. On average there where at least 10 to 12 and up to 18 in the park at a given time.
I was just surprised to have seen so many at a given time.

I was one of those perhaps you counted. I was in Hickory Hollow loop #1712 March 14-17th.
There was an Airstream with a vehicle with Ontario plates on it in my loop - I believe an FC. Was that you? I bet it was. I just noted you have an F150 and so twas with my loop cousin!

Does Disney give a special rate for three weeks ? That would be fun place to work camp.

Don't think so. Let me know if you find out anything. It is pricy to me. Nice but pricy.

I heard they stopped long term rates about 10 years ago. I did meet someone in my loop when I was at the Fort over Xmas and he was staying for 3 months with no discount. I think we counted 6 Airstreams Xmas week 2013.

I did count yours and yes I was in the same loop. Yes the rates are Hi and there is no discount that I know of. Just off season rates in the fall if you want more value for your money.
