Airstreamless, for now

We have sold our wonderful 23 foot Safari to a couple from Michigan. The new owners showed up this morning and picked it up. So for the short term, about 2 weeks, we will be without an Airstream, until we go to Foley RV in Gulfport MS to pick up our 2016 28 foot Flying Cloud (rear Queen). We are looking forward to getting settled into our new AS. Was really strange to see, for the first time ever, our 23 footer leaving the driveway and heading down the road.

But soon you will have a lot more aluminum to care for! Congratulations on your "upgrade". I hope you have many travel adventures in it.

It is a bit difficult to see your old Airstream leaving. The new owners will likely enjoy it as much as you did.

Thanks. Posted it out on the AS Classified and had it sold in less that 24 hours. Surprised the daylights out of me. Very fortunate, very glad.

Good to know! If we ever decide to part with Rocinante the First, we'll be sure to try that route before letting a dealer rob us - er trade for it- when we buy Rocinante II.

Hi from AZ. . .I think you're going to love a FC 28, we do. Great floor plan, a shower you can actually fit in, and just the right size for us 2. . . .congrats, Craig

Congratulations!

In Oct we made a similar change. We upgraded from a 2006 25' FB we bought used (and loved it) to a 2015 28' International. We had two trips in the fall and love it even more than our first AS.

We are actively planning numerous 2016 trips and can't wait to hit the road.

Airstreamless, for now

Well we just finished moving into our new 2016 28 ft FC. It feels like home already. Foley RV had been an absolute joy to work with. Salesman, Richard Brown, has checked and double checked everything to make sure our AS is ready to roll. Looking forward to hitting the open road and relaxing with all this additional foot space.

What a wonderful way to start 2016!
We have the same trailer, just ours is a couple years old now. After extensive use, we can confirm that you have chosen a wonderful floorplan.
Congrat's and with luck our paths will cross one day and compare notes... If you run into any issues, don't hesitate to drop me a line if you have questions. We have upgraded ours a little but all in all its been a great trailer

Cheers
Doug
