Airstreaming in Missoula

We are possibly planning a 6 week stay in Missoula, MT starting in late June or early July. Have never been there and wonder if anyone has any experience with any of the RV campgrounds in the area?

Hi Terry & Mary with your four cats! I live in Missoula and although I don't yet have any experiences with the campgrounds in this area, I'd be glad to try to answer any questions you have. I don't mind scouting for you either, just ask! You picked a good time to come to MT, hopefully we won't be too smoky from forest fires then.

We stayed at Jim's & Mary's R V park last year Had a good time and enjoyed it very clean park and nice people

Thanks dieterdog. As we get closer to it maybe happenning I would like to ask you further about flyfishing spot and RV campgrounds. I hope it is going to work for us.

The nicest of your three choices. Nice people, well kept. It is a about three miles to the airport and 5 miles to town. Make your reservation now. They are busy in the summer.

KOA in town. may work for you
Jellystone. across the highway from Jim and Marys.
I have spent many, many nights at Jim and Mary's.
Ask for a spot in the shade. It will be a back in but your AC will thank you when it gets hot.
