Wink Airstream graveyard?

We just passed a strange place on I-95 N, mm 141 in SC, on the right just before the exit.....had 30+ Airstreams in the lot/field. Couldn't stop to check it out. Old, newer, square. Some looked beat, others looked in great shape. It was a quick look.

Anyone know about this place? The sign on the beatup building said RV Center.

We stopped in there while driving back from Florida in October. The gate was open as someone was working in the shop. Most of the trailers were open to have a peek. No prices marked and no one around.

Don Mar. Great visibility from I-95.

That is all I know.

Visited there too!

WE (Carol and I) were there in late October while on the way from Fla. to N.C.! We did take the time to look at everything on the dealer lot. This is Don-Mar RV Sales. They have been in business for 30+ years. They are an Airstream sales and service center. Don passed earlier this year but his wife Mary still runs the place. They have lots of vintage Airstream, Spartan and other trailers as well as several wrecked 70's thru 90's Airstream trailers that can be accessed for parts. They will sell any trailer they have on site. There are no prices on the trailers but I spoke with her Grandson who has worked there for over 18 years and he allowed me access to all the trailers that they own. The Parts dept. stocks OEM & old stock parts. If you need something give Mary a call and if she doesn't have it she has the contacts to see if it is still available for you. The number is: (803)-453-5011 or (800)-581-4678. Fax number: (803)-453-5001. E-mail them at mary.donmarrv@yahoo.com. They are located @ 265-Pudding Swamp Road Lynchburg, S.C. 29080 Exit 141 on I-95 in South Carolina. Hope this helps, Ed

They have a BUNCH of panels in stock hanging up. Chuck is the panel master. I got our AS there and it's pretty amazing the stuff you can find there. Take a look at the satellite map view to get some idea of the inventory.

Mary is the boss, office manager, etc etc. if your travels include I95 thru SC stop in and you'll see.
