Airstream discounts

I have read a couple posts that mention RV parks giving Airstreamers discounts. Why would they do this? Do the Airstreams reduce maintenance/issues over other trailers? Is there a consolidated list somewhere which lists locations of discounts?

Sorry, I've been towing an Airstream since 2008 and never had a discount at any RV park. Could you please post a link to the forum where you read that info?

There are lot of RV parks that give a "Good Sam" member discount. The membership is available at Camping World which also gives in store discounts for merchandise.

We have gotten Airstream discounts at a number of RV parks. They do this because they like Airstreams not for any nefarious agenda. They usually have their own parked within sight.

Ahab,

It's cool that an RV park gave you a discount. I wish more of them would did. So far I have not run into any parks in Texas or Louisiana that do,

Happy camping!
