We'll be heading out early Thursday morning from Kentucky going south on I-69 towards Land between the Lakes hooking up with I40 heading to Little Rock for out first overnight stay on our way to Albuquerque. Maybe we'll cross paths. Be safe and enjoy the journey.

Got into Little Rock yesterday afternoon. Went downtown and ate diner at Flying Fish. Good seafood, great atmosphere. Heading out shortly for Oklahoma City. Be safe.

ABQ bound from Kentucky tomorrow

Dropped the AS at Camp Robinson on the North side I-40 in Little Rock and then drove the TV downtown. Parking was tight. We are now in Oklahoma City just chilling for awhile. Crazy traffic on I-40 just East of OK City.

Tsunami,

I'm a day behind you! Got to little rock this afternoon. Staying in overflow spot at Rv park on the River. Walked across bridge to Clinton Library and to get dinner. Oh yes, and to register for a big cycling event tomorrow. That was a fortuitous thing we found out about. Now scrambling to find our bike helmets that we packed away somewhere in the space shuttle.

Oh is that what they call the Big Dam Bridge Race. Understand that's a serious race. Be safe and do your best.

Weirdstuff,

Glad I caught you in this thread: I'm sorry I couldn't find band books that had "Up, Up, and Away in My Beautiful Balloon" in them. Also, I couldn't find any books even in the same key (what's up with THAT??? What do directors of beginning bands do??)--so the short of the story is that we have no music.

I guess I'll just leave the Beast[ly Bassoon] home and save him the stress of the trip on his aged body. (Good grief, that sounds like an excuse for myself, but we're coming--we're coming!) And I'm looking forward to meeting you!

We're leaving Weds AM, my DH promises. Humph. We'll see....

Yes that's the one! But it's just a fun ride, not a race. We had a great time, now chillin' with a couple beers and listening to music. Looks like we'll b in Little Rock another day! This is a great little city!
