When we get to this section of the road [which we have to travel for almost every NEU rally we attend] we make sure no one is next to us in the ajoining lanes and deploy the AS wings to help lift it over the contruction joints. For us there really is no option but to take it all the way up.

I may have posted this earlier in the thread...but I've measured the difference in mileage between the 495 route vs. the "mass pike>128/95" route, and it is very small. 3 or 4 miles, IIRC.
ask your gps...time difference should be negligible, but the ride on 128 is much smoother.

ok, on edit: just used googlemaps' new measuring features, I came up w/ 7 miles difference. still worth it, to me.

HMMMMMmmmm...... Wings still make it better! Maybe we will flip a coin when we get to the point of commitment.

We camped at Russell Pond this summer - awesome! First come, first serve. We stayed in a site near the campground host, worked out great. If you can get near the pond that is beautiful. Total boondocking, though, just so you know.

Great trails if you like mountain biking, and of course you are not maybe 5 miles from Lincoln, beginning of Kangamagus Hwy.

Oh yes, and make sure you don't leave food or dogs out - bear country.

Hi All, thanx for input on RP.

Any specific site recomendations?

I know it is first come, what are the odds of getting a site if I roll in there Friday evening around 7:00?

I know it is boondocking, are any sites close enough to a water spigot to "top off" if I bring enough hose (I carry about 150' just for this purpose...)?

Thanx, Bill
