30 -34ft AS on the road alot

I'm a couple of years from retirement and planning. Have had a 23' and a 27' in the past and thinking about finding a solid , older 30-34' for lots of road time once retirement becomes a reality.
My impression is that folks who have the longer units don't spend a lot of time on the road. More time parked long term than being on the road for 6 months at a time.
My question for those who have trailers in the 30-34ft range is: Assuming it has been checked out and is completely road worthy, how do they do covering a lot of miles?
Anticipate pulling with a 250/2500 diesel pick-up.
Thanks in advance.
FT

Dragged my 31' Sovereign about 65000 miles over the past 9 years. It takes exactly the same amount of time to set up or break camp with a 31' or, for that matter, a 34', than it does a 19'.

Lots of storage, very stable towing. Very comfortable.

I keep an eye on the classifieds and have entertained thoughts of fleeting up to a 34'. I guess I am a fan of "go big or go home"...

We have drug our 34 all over the USA, most of the time moving on a daily basis. 45,000 miles later it just as easy to move a 1991 34' as 1963 26' (and the 34' is very comfortable)
