27-28 advice needed

I'm not sure if this is the right forum, but I need a little advice. My wife and I really wanted a 24-26ft center bed but are not finding the right trailer. We have, however, found some real deals on 27-28 footers that are nice trailers. We're worried that the 27-28s may be a little long. Primary usage would be on secondary highways and in Forest Service campgrounds in MT,ID and WA. Would like to try AZ one time during Montana's winter (supposed to be -21 here by Sunday). Not worried about the tow vehicle ('08 Tundra 5.7). I use it for work and have already pulled some big loads with absolutely no problem.

So...if you've pulled a 27 or a 28 under the conditions I expect the most, I'd really appreciate your advice. I need to stop looking and start doing.

Thanks!

We've towed ours on quite a few back roads and secondary highways and have not had any problems. Mostly we stay at state parks here but I have been in a few forest service campgrounds checking them out to see if we could get into them and for the most part I would say most will take a 27 but some are a little tight to manuver. Seems to me in National campgrounds around here (Mt Rainier etc) 27 ft is the maximum lenght they allow. I'm sure you'll enjoy whatever you end up with.
