Have a safe trip. Nice to meet you and your family. I hope no one got a tummy ache from eating to much taffy. Your trailer layout and what you have done is perfect for your family, I can hardly wait to see the finished product. Everyone, this guy does a great job, it's looking good.
After our visit I went back to the shop and worked on the 68. Put together the frame for the L-shaped sofa, got to keep up with the Purman's

Ok, we are just outside Trinidad Ca... Should have stayed at Harris beach state park but the lady there said I could go to alfed loeb sp. I didn't relize it was up a river and wanted to camp on the beach.
Well then You have Ca with no camp sites on the beach Whats up with that... The first one I came to was patricks point and it was full so we are in a really nice Rv site just outside Trinidad. It was 7 pm when we pulled in so it wouldn't have mattered if there wasn't bushes between the sites The kids needed to eat. and they have a small play area..
I think I am going to have to skip highway 1 down the beach to make good time to south of San Francisco. Bummer I wish I didn't have to be in LA on thur. Wish it was friday. Anyway having a good time, and made lots of stops along the way today..

I've got to second 'Blue Pearl's' recommendation of the Cannon Beach RV Resort. We've been there twice, our last visit just last weekend. Top notch, especially if you request a back in spot towards the back of the facility.
We also went to Cannon Beach RV resort for our 35th anniversary. Good Sam park, well maintained. Went into town for lunch and to inquire about gasoline, the closest gas was as it turned out - was - Cannon beach RV resort. Delightful town, and there is also a shuttle from the park into town. We did no use it so can't report on that.
Ok, now I remember why we didn't stay in NYC, Well actually the Bronx.
RUDE DRIVERS... But they didn't realize they were messing with a NYC driver...
Man some drivers in Ca are real A$% holes.. No patience are rude...
We are just south or santa cruse in a state park (forgot the name) next one south of twin lakes.. All the camp grounds are full for the weekend already. MAN..
LUCKLY someone wasn't coming in till the morning so we are out of here early, and Headed for Inland RV to get new axles...
I lost a hub cap on the road in San Fran because it was sooooo smooth. NOT.. I have driven over 3000 miles and not lost one... It was a moon one if someone sees it....
I am taking the kids to the beach and Tar pits while the trailer is being worked on.. Then we are headed out of town towards Las Vegas. I can't take this big city stuff anymore...

And the bottom corner of my door frame also cracked again after I welded it last summer..
Now I not the best a welding aluminum, but it lasted till the roads in San Fran.. Dam, one more thing to fix when I get home... Well I'm getting the bugs out on this trip.
Does anyones else's water pump flicker the lights when running or surge water?
It's rather annoying...

Not all CA drivers are rude. We live here and are always polite to others, but I agree with you that's not always the case. Just wait until you get to LA. There are some drivers who drive like they got their license at toys-r-us.
I hope you get your AS axle work done in a timely fashion . You may be here longer than you had anticipated. I'll be good thoughts your way to have the AS gods shine your way .
If you get stuck, the campground near us in Pomona, by the fairgrounds I hear is nice. Its a KOA, and it's only about 20 min. from Inland RV in Corona.
Hey In Land Rv was Great. got the trail there at 10am LA traffic OMG...
Done by 3 pm But I was stuck in LA traffic coming back from the Tar pits with the Kids. Got there at 4:30 ate dinner and pulled out for Las Vagas at 6 pm. Sitting at a friends pool...

Hey, good to hear. We were actually there picking up some parts. Saw your trailer in the parking lot, as Greg had just finished it. Peeked in the window to try and get a first hand view of your remodel, but was hard to see as the blinds/shades were down on most windows. Saw your countertop; it looked fab!
The door was unlocked you should have just gone in. I wouldn't have minded a bit....

Still in Vegas, It's 105 but the pool at our friends is nice. Going to check out a fireworks display tonight and head back to Cedaredge Sunday morning. Miss the wife and, she says the weeds in the veggie garden are taller than the vegies...
It's been a fun trip, but a lot of driving.
Just want to say thanks to Greg at INland Rv for doing a great job on the trailer and get it done so fast.. THANKS>>>>>
LA traffic was terrible.
From Inland RV it put the tar pit museum in the GPS and it said 55 min. It took nearly 2 hrs to get there. and another 2 back. But the kids had fun.
I must say I let our dog out to Go to the bathroom at the pits and took here to a boarder not even the grass in the parking lot and she went poop. Some rude guy started using words I won't repeat and told me to take her home to do that. Even when I was civil and said home was colorado He continues to swear and be rude. Lucky my kids where there, I may have gotten my NYC attitude. but I did mention that he was the reason most Californians are considered asses... and that he had a real piss poor attitude..
and Yes I was picking up the poop as he was carrying on...
