The compositing toilet has been really, really great. My two year old son thinks all the levers and "buttons" on it are awesome is quite content to sit on it for 20 minutes at a time, which is helpful because we're in the middle of potty training with him.

I haven't noticed any odor from the compost itself, aside from the occasional wiff of coffee grounds (we add those to the compost). We have to empty the liquid container about every week or so, and empty the compost about once a month depending on use. It's great not to have to deal with sewage!
curious, what material you use for composting ?

These are memories in the making Just think how much fun it will be sharing these stories with family and friends in years to come.

As far as the window shattering. That's happening with some new AS trailer units and appears to be traced to a pressure problem. Friends have a 2015 Flying Cloud and on a trip near Donners Pass in CA, rear corner window just blew out while driving down the road. He is trying to get it repaired under warranty now.

We use dehydrated coconut husk. Works pretty well, though it takes some time to rehydrate it before use.

Not the most elegant fix, but it will have to do until we get back!

Oh, and to add to the list of stuff that's happened in this trip:

- A bottle of fish oil/sauce broke open inside the AS while we were towing. It's the most foul smelling thing I can imagine, and now our AS smells like it.

- One of the stabilizing Jack stands fell off while towing. Two of the three bolts detached from AS somehow and the thing was dragging on the roadway until I said to me wife "do you hear something?" Used some rope to secure it in place until we got to our final destination.

The fun continues!
