10 days to wander/where to go?

Hey, y’all.
I’ve got 10 days to wander with my dog Cash and my 55 Globe Trotter coming up in about a week. We’ve got first weekend planned at Johnson-Sauk State Park in west Illinois but looking for ideas where else to explore. Hoping to hike, check out some historical sites, breweries and music. Let’s hear some ideas, please and thank you!

That was my initial thought. Any town/campsite in particular?

Gr8dane, You may already know about these. I was just looking at Google maps and you will have two breweries with 30 miles of your campsite.

Those are close enough to check them out and then fall back to the campsite to regroup.

Unfortunately I don't. I have been in the area twice but it was prior to my Airstream life.

Wabasha seemed like a quaint place to visit...any town where there is a bridge, go see what's on the other side!

Lake Pepin...stayed there a few days as well.

Keep Cash close and even a blaze orange vest on him depending on when deer season starts.

We have Leonbergers and I found vests for them, will look up the brand name for them if you want.

Maybe Cash is black and white Harlequin, but those hunters are not discerning enough for me to take chances ...
