Wanted Propane tanks
I need two 30# horizontal tanks. A PO must have removed them at some point. I would rather get old ones and have them recertified instead of buying new ones and modifying them.
Any one have ones the want to sell or a lead on where to buy them?

If you ever make it to Florida I have a set of horizontal tanks removed from a 95' Limited. I'd have to double check the size though as they might be 40 #'s
Don't believe you can ship those though?

Be VERY careful doing this. The forklift tanks that i have dealt with are designed to feed LIQUID propane rather than VAPOROUS propane to the system. (RVs are NOT designed to handle LIQUID propane.)
Here's some info:

I will be going to FL in the fall. I don't know if 40 would fit.

I have a pair of aluminum horizontal tanks from a 1989 33' Squarestream in Woodstock, NY. Best offer? I realize this thread is several years old.

The size tanks that fit are not going to work because that size is now required to have the OPD VALVE. which as far as I understands does not allow a tank to be operated on its side.

Horizontal cylinders have a means by which "up" is determined (usually by having feet welded onto the side of the tank). By having an up-side (no pun intended), an OPD can be fitted.

Squarestream propane tanks available
I previously posted horizontal propane tanks from a 1989 33' Squarestream, now in Hillsdale NY (near Great Barrington MA). I am in the process of renovating it as an all-electric trailer.

I changed over to vertical tanks, so mine are up for grabs.
