What a shame! it was let go like that. Could and should be saved. If I only had the extra money.

Neat and rare unit. I sure hope someone will come along and recue him.

ME TO, I HATE TO SEE THEM GO SINCE ONLY MAYBE ABOUT 150 TOTAL MADE AS ARGOSY AND AIRSTREAMS IN THE TWO YEARS THEY MADE THEM.1988 AS ARGOSY AND 1989 AS AIRSTREAMS. AT LEAST THIS ONE HAS GOOD STARTING PRICE AND NO RESERVE SO SOME ONE SHOULD HAVE $$ LEFT TO FIX IT UP
Maybe I'll win the lottery before the auction closes...
Always wanted one...
YOU DO NOT NEED THE LOTTER TO BUY IT BUT MIGHT HELP YOU RESTORE IT TO IT'S ORIGINAL CONDITSION. SOME TIMES I WISH I WAS YOUNGER SO I COULD TAKE SOMETHING LIKE THIS ON AND BRING IT BACK TO THE GOOD LIFE GOT TO LOVE THOSE SQUARESTREAMS.

That 5th wheel looks just about exactly like the one our neighbors are in here at the park. Their's says Avion. What's the difference (s)?? I really don't know much history of these things!

I can not say much since I do not know anything about Avion.
Would be nice to see photo of the Avion 5th wheel. May be you could post one

There are two in the RV park where we are staying, I'll post pics of them tonight.
Avion was an almost-(squarestream) Airstream-looking fifth wheel marketed by Fleetwood, IIRC they exited the market circa 1997.
