Squarestream Roofing advice

Hey everybody! New to the forum. Just purchased an 87, 29' Squarestream and am neck deep in the remodel already. I have gutted the inside due to extensive water damage, but before I do any more I need to seem seal and tackle the roof. Previous owner poorly sealed the roof by rubber coating the entire thing. With the help of a heat gun and oscillating tool I have cleaned the seams. For what ever reason they mopped it on the entire roof! Looking for advice for next step.

The aluminum seam strips at each end cap are missing their vinyl trim, and the seams running the length are only clean about an in or so wide. Thinking of sealing the long runs with Eternabond tape, and caulking all other seams and windows with Trempro. Hopefully I can find replacement vinyl trim for all of the channels. Thoughts? Anything I am missing?

I think unfortunately I am just going to scrub the rest of the roof as I could spend the entire summer trying to strip all of the pointless roof coating.

I love this forum! I have already learned so much and been so inspired by all of your trailers. Happy camping

The vinyl trim is also available from auto body repair parts warehouses. And not as expensive as Airstream
