That is a good question. The word LIMITED has been use on some models of Airstreams. Most of them that I know about had different trim colors.
I do not know of it being used on Argosy trailer but it may have been.
Mybe someone will have the answer for us.

Hi Friends:..I've been off-line for some time and doing some getting used to my "new to me" 33' argosy. Now I'm pretty certain I'll be wanting to park it for long term and am curious if others have some good advice on exactly what form of support is considered best beyond simply putting down the balancers and resting on the tires? Any advice would be appreciated from those with good experience..many thanks

I have an 88 29 footer, just bought it in great shape for $2200!! VIN number is 1ABGAJN26JJ827. Thats all the info i know how to give you right now, we're re upholstering the couch and cushions right now. Someone took out the double beds and made a platform for a queen mattress. I need some odds and ends, skylight caps, platic light covers for the bathroom and one in the bedroom, and I would like to put in new stove elements. Where should I go to find this stuff?!!

My finacee and I are going to be living in it for the next several years while we go to college and fly hawks (we are both falconers). I don't know much about them now, but I'm learning thanks to this forum :-)

thanks so much for the help, and know that I am a little glad to have the step sibling of the real deal too! :-)

Thank you for the info.
Your VIN # should read 200827.
You should be able to get most items at a Airstream dealer since the Argosy and Airstream squarestream are almost the same. The light covers for thin line light you can get at places like Camping World.

I discovered a two door SquareStream just a couple of blocks from my house. I know it hasn't been there the whole time since we moved into this neighborhood two and a half years ago. I left a message for the owner and he called me earlier this week. We're going to go and look it over on Sunday. My mother-in-law has been looking for a 29'er or so and this might just be the ticket. The owner didn't know the length or year of manufacture. Now how can that be?

I'll post the serial number and a few pictures.

Hi Kevin
Thanks for the info. The first part of the VIN # is 1AB and it should have been a 1988 with that s/n.It is interesting to see that you have a slide out.We thought that only 5 trailer where made with slide out and that they where all Airstreams.Yours is the 2nd Argosy 5th wheel we have found this week with a slide out. That makes 3 trailer with slide outs that we know of and your is the earliest Argosy on the list that we have found. We now have 3 Argosy and 3 Airstream 1988-1989 5th wheels.
I was a A & P AMT for 54 years On large aircraft and helicopters. I retired at 72,3 years ago.I still do a little work on large aircraft now and then.

I just purchased this 1989 31 Ft. Ser# 45zgyjt29kj2000977. Picked it up in Atlanta Ga from a very nice Gentleman who only used it about 7 times in the last 10 years, Interier is excellent but It needs some restoration as the Frig. and AC need replaced and it Also should have new Axles. I intend to put it back in excellent condition ASAP.

I just found out that my Squarestream is a 33 footer not a 31. It was advertised as a 31 when I bought it. When we first saw it my wife remarked about how it looked too long but I assured her it was only one foot longer than our 30 foot Avion. She thinks anything over 30 foot is just too long and would have been against buying it if she had known it was a 33. Sooooooo It's a good thing it was advertised as31 or we my not have even gone to look at it.

Concerning the Squarestream Registry

Just wondering. is the Squarestream registry published anywhere? I would be interested in seeing it. Is it JUST for Airstream name plates or does it include Argosy also?

Hubby & I just purchased a 1987 Argosy by Airstream - it's the Front Kitchen 33 foot model. A lot of the interior is original, but there have been some repairs, and the extra chair is gone. We, however, are DELIGHTED with it, and are looking forward to learning more about our dollhouse here in this Squarestream thread.
