Front one BLUE has:
"Warning:,
Potable water only.Sanitize, flush and drain before using.see instruction manual"
Rear one RED has:
" Attention:
Holding tank flushing only. Do not use potable water hose."
Dont have the red one for flushing the tanks, or I have not located it.
Replaced the faucets in the kitchen and bath.
Will be changing the shower assembly next also.

I have taken out the front couch as the floor needed to be replaced, water damage.
I am putting a new cherry floor in today, putting down felt paper first as a vapor barrier and then the floating floor.
Have been taking pictures and will post them.

I have not had a tank fill issue yet.....but I know you probably all are aware that the law does not require a filling station to fill if they are not satisfied with a visual inspection, or for that matter, for any reason. Most are reasonable when they see the law "allows" them to fill, but they are just trying to do their jobs and be safe. Have you seen some of the illegal bottles that they are asked to fill? as a former volunteer firefighter, I have.

Squair,
Do you have close up pics of your trailer? Is the exterior color "stock" or was it re-painted?

Or ..... I should have finished my thought ..... is it the lighting that makes the aluminum have the appearance of a darker gray?
Again,

Well that didn't take long! Thanks SQUAIR or Jimmini or both.
As you can see from our Airforums info we already own an Airstream. We are thinking of also buying a Squarestream to park and use our Safari only for trips.
Can either of you direct us to Squarestream threads or wherever we can get up to speed on the best years & models to investigate?
Thanks,
TKNELLE

Hi Jimmini;

Thanks for your input.
Just about to inspect and hopefully pickup an 89 squarestream here in Aus.
Would you be able to educate me on your top 10 components to inspect for correct function and condition:
fridge operation
water leak signs
gas bottles?
etc...
etc..
Best Regards
Steve

Filling Horizontal Bottles

I can't seem to find the query about filling lay-down bottles, but seems as if someone was looking for that info. I have a copy of the exemption taped to each one of my bottles. I have posted a copy of the federal law that exempts them on this thread . If you can't find it, I should be able to re-post it

We have a 1988, Squarestream, with the horizontal propane tanks. Have never had a problem with getting them off, filled and re-positioned.
