'89 Squarestream construction
Am slowly gutting recently purchased '89 29footer. Lots of floor rot around the outer premiter front and rear. May also be mid coach but that is all covered with frig, center closet and bathroom area. Also all paneling in front and rear had to be removed (ceiling included). Noticed the driver front outside corner lower rail was half held on with screws and half with rivets. Removed same and was suprised to see no sealing of the belly wrap which was brought up over the side panels and just loosely riveted. The rail looks like there might have been a tiny bead of chalk run along the top of it but not enough to really ever keep it sealed.
Has anyone had a chance to see how this belly rap was installed at this lower wall junction. You would think that it would have been placed inside of the wall u-channel.
