year and model please

The plate near the door is stamped 7369 (Los Angeles Airtstream) Single axle with two windows on the door side and three on the other. California black license plate stamped 62 in upper right corner with no other registration sticker on it. Any help is appreciated.

The number you are providing isn't the full VIN. Look around for another plate with a longer alpha-numeric code on it. Alternatively, if you post a picture someone will probably recognize it on sight.

Another option is to go to vintageairstream.com. There is an "Airstream Model Resources" tab, with "yearly photo archives" section there that shows models and years. You might want to start by looking at the 1962 single axle trailers, which would be Globetrotters, Safaris, Flying Couds, and Tradewinds. There is also a "Price vs Condition" section from the main page that will help you to decide roughly what it might be worth.

It is actually a very masculine collar with little skulls and crossbones to make up for the tinkly little bell! It does give him an air of sophistication from a distance, though.

Sounds like a 1953 Flying Cloud.

I will digress once more from the thread-those types of cats(blacks & greys) are actually called tuxedo cats because of their makings. We have 2 of each.

Now then, 7Shifty-Are you able to provide us with a picture of the data plate from the trailer or a pic of the trailer?

You have correctly identified the VIN number and that it was manufactured in the Los Angeles factory.

The 1953 Flying Cloud 21' started production with number 7350 and ended with number 7399.

The licence plate stamped '62 was just when that plate was issued to an owner.

Another resource with data that so far has proven correct every time I have bounced it against another source;

Vintage Airstream - 1953 Flying Cloud 21' - Vintage Airstream
