What does this do?

I have a picture of a pull switch in my 1978 Avion. the other end of the wires attached to the switch. The wires end up behind the fridge, not attached just hanging. Any clues?

Thanks, the wires at the other end are hanging loose. Where would they attach?

It's possible they don't, if the fridge was replaced.

I agree looks like a lighter switch for a gas powered fridge. There will have been a piezo electric "clicker" mounted under the fridge near the gas burner. I have seen one installed before, but don't recall the model of camper.

If it is an off on switch it could have been a small fan to improve air circulation behind the fridge. I have one on my 77.

Thanks for all the help. Fridge works fine, it's been running on electric for a week or two. Trying to get everything squared away. Finished painting, repainted tongue stripped propane tanks, getting ready to do counter tops. Couch is ready to be put back in once it gets back from shop.
