No, no updates. Busy times for us...we are looking to move to a place with more room that will enable us to better work on our projects. Ideally, something with a 3 car, 3 trailer, 2 motorcycle heated garage/workshop with courtesy parking adjacent. Oh yeah, it would also be nice to have a modest detached home within a 30 minute radii of our office - we still have day jobs. So, no progress on the mobile projects right now...working on our static house to get ready to sell.

The trailer was trashed before he even started.
Check out the heavy duty frame.

M2HB - I disagree, I think. I've "met" several folks on AirForums that could turn that trailer into a show piece. I thought it a real shame that somebody would purposelly trash that trailer just for some childish giggles.

You can add 5676 to that list. Just made a deal on her. No title and I live in Massachusetts so this will be interesting.

If you have trouble in Massachusetts, you can get a Maine title with only a bill of sale if the trailer is more than 15 years old, and you don't have to be a Maine resident to register a trailer there. Check out Staab Agency. I've gone this route twice to import trailers into Canada and it worked great each time. I'm assuming that once you have the Maine paperwork you can use that to register in Massachusetts.

Hi I'll be picking up #5323 this week. I just had tires put on the wheels in town (7.50x16 bias plys). The body is in great shape with all window and frames intact but the interior is totally gone, not even the wheel well covers. It was being used as a storage shed in the mountains. It will need a complete restoration but first I need to finish my Boles Mira Mar.

Shari, it looks like you moved to Conifer or Evergreen. More room for Airstreams.
Were you evacuated when the Bluebell fire started? We used to live in Marshdale, halfway between the two towns off Hwy. 73.

Yes, we did move. We're closer to Conifer, but have a Evergreen mailing address -Valley Hi Estates, if you know where that is...and yes, we had a "fire drill" on Monday courtesy of the Bluebell fire. Level three evacuation - " get out, take nothing". Although, we were on the very easterly edge of the evac area (right off hwy 73) so we just hitched up, threw some things in the trailer and were prepared to leave. We ended up sticking around though - the fire was 4 miles away and moving away from us.
Thanks for your concern ~

Shari,
We lived about a mile away from where you are now. We were about 2 short blocks uphill from The Bistro. I've seen the sign for your subdivision about a 1,000 times, but it gets dim after 13 years, so I looked it up. We used to enjoy watching the light show when thunderstorms came through the Hwy. 73 corridor. Beautiful area, though we were always concerned about fires.

I just brought #5323 home after a 5 hour ordeal to put on the wheels, brace the interior, jury rig the hitch and drive miles down the mountain. I've taken photos but I don't know how to insert them.I've take photos but I don't have a flliker or any other photo account, just my photos in my pictures in my computer.

you can create an account that will host photos - if you use gmail, google+ (used to be picasa) will let you upload photos. then you insert them by hitting the photo icon, insert the URL of the photo. or upgrade your airforums account to host (upload) photos here.
