Vintage Camper Identification

Can anyone identify this trailer? The owner has not been home each time I drop by to ask. It has neat little exterior storage box on the back end.

It looks like an Avion. You're posting in Vintage Kin, so you probably know it isn't an Airstream. Year? Model? Yet to be answered....

Silver Streak because of the gold band.

The one listed is $8000, is that about normal for one in that condition?

Nice find. Looks familiar. It appears to be a 20ft Silver Streak Sabre. $8000 seems way too high, unless it is in REALLY good condition. Check out my site for problems I've found in mine. It should give you an idea of what to look for if you should get serious about this unit. The link should be in my signature.

Wow, you've done quite a bit of work on that Sabre and it looks like it is coming along nice. I am going tp folow your build. Now that I have read every entry that you have made I will know what to look for when/if the current owner decides to deal. What is a range of pricing that would make this trailer a worthy subject?

From looking at the pics, it looks like it's been sitting for a while. There's just too many unknowns to determine a price range. More detailed pics of the exterior and interior would help a lot.
