It will leave Jacksonville on Feb 2 to reach Southampton on March 6, then, few days in a special workshop and then ferry to Bilbao before the end of March. I have been dreaming of Airstream or quite a while :-)

Though not connected to the Airstream brand in any way that I know of, I think Spartans are beautiful trailers- especially the inside with all that woodwork! I would guess that you'll have the only Spartan Mansion in Spain. Hope all goes well with the shipping and repairs!

Yes I am almost in Spain, 4 km away from the Northern Atlantic border ! I am looking for floor and frame plans .... Do you have a clue where I shuld look for that ?

Hi Jackie,

I recently purchased a 1950 Royal Mansion that is complete and in original condition. I have looked for floor plans but have been unable to find them.

Try a site called Vintagecampers.com. You might email Dan Piper, who owns more Spartans than you will ever see in one place. He may have access to original plans.

The Spartantrailer.com site seems to be off-line at the moment but is a good source for information as well.

Keep posting here and I will always be glad to help in any way that I can.

Also try the following link, it's gets a bit political, but does show a modified floor plan of a Royal Mansion.

spartantrailer.com runs out of bandwidth at the end of each month. They have plans for the Manor but not as much for the Royal Mansions (I have a '48 and a '50.) How did it travel? Was it in a container?
There is one British fellow I know that has a spartan.. any more in Spain?
