Talking Silver Streak found in the Palomar Mountains...

Driving in the mountain town of Julian located in Southern California today near the Palomar Mountains and saw this Silver Streak sitting in a dirt storage lot.

Looks a bit weathered, but in it's time I bet you it was a pretty nice Travel Trailer!

Anyone guess what year it might be and any links to some pictures of what the interior might have looked like when she was in her prime? Kinda curious - imagine this has got to be a cousin of the Airstream...

Guess its "Google" time...

That's a 30' rear bedroom. GVWR was 8k. Bout 1974-1976 (Anodizing was a bad batch for the gold color in 1977, so that year is also possible); chrome reverse wheels those years (whitewalls standard); wheels will clean up nicely . Rear bumper is a replacement, and spare was factory mounted in trunk. Appears faded but is good enough I'd like to see it. See the Toms' Web Page site. S/S was upmarket of Airstream. Today, less to purchase and will need far less to make "like new" compared to A/S.
