As anybody looking for a Silver Streak? I asked the owner of this about the aluminum tanks, and she said, "are ya interested in the trailer too?"
So it is up for sale if anybody wants more info. PM me and I will do some leg work for you.

Silver Streaks are NICE!

Cassidy,

That is a sharp looking trailer. It's definitely worthy of somebody restoring it. If I lived closer to you, I'd be interested. But as I'm 2000 miles away and have a 34' Avion that I'm working on, I'll need to pass.

Just the same, I hope somebody rescues this rig. Silver Streak's were very nice trailers. I'd hate to see this one languish when it could be fixed up to A1 condition.

Take care,

Looks like it may have been "lived in". There is an air conditioner on the side. I wonder if the black marks down the side are from tar when they maybe sealed the roof. Good sized trailer.....sure will make a nice project for someone.

Not sure how big it is, looks to me to be at least 30', I will do more research for someone. I am not interested in it, but I like the tanks on the front. I think it is tar spilled on the side. I will knock on the door and see if I can get some more pics. It is up for sale though. Not sure how much. I will try and find out more. It is Gillette, Wy. Northeast part of Wyoming.

Thank you for looking into it and getting more pictures. I just wish I could get out there myself. That trailer has awesome potential. And how often do you see a Silver Streak out on the road? I don't think I've ever seen one.

The networking and camraderie on here is great. I bought my current rig, a 34' Avion, by seeing a person on here mention it I emailed them and they went into greater detail, and even went to look at it for me. Shows one of the real benefits of the internet.

Maybe they'll throw in the trailer with the tanks

Actually, Vintage Trailer Supplies has the 40lb Worthington Aluminum LP bottles for $200, brand new. You'll have to put new valves in those old ones. Still be cheaper than buying new, but you can get the new ones if you want.

Vintage Trailer Supply - Vintage travel trailer parts and supplies!

I've been through Wyoming twice. Beautiful country out there.

take care,
