Price is low enough, that's the idea. Too much to do around house, and that trailer is temptation enough to ignore what I shouldn't.

Yes, cork flooring; 12" x 12" glue-down laminate tiles, lined up with seams from subfloor. Wonderful stuff. Treat it like a wood floor, but it has cushion. Naturally anti-microbial unlike carpeting, but -- surprisingly -- the trailer is as acoustically as quiet as with medium-cut pile.

I agree- that is one beautiful trailer! I especially like all the woodwork, and have always admired the gold-anodized accent panels on these models. Will she be staying in Texas?

I've had calls from Washington state, northern California, and, mainly, Texas. These are the first photo's to go up, I hope to have all photos (over 100, in great detail) for anyone interested . . and not have distance keep them from serious contemplation. I'll have advertisements up in 4-5 places after this; with the photos and a few thousand words of description for those who request it via e-mail.

Thanks! My wife has the great eye, I just provide the sweat, and help on the final 2-3 choices of things.

Not an exit from trailers, per se, but a pulling back, for now.

We are starting over in this city, and in new fields. Time will be tighter for one. And this 1953 house and its landscaping will keep me busy for several years of free time. Time I won't have for travel in a trailer, much as I love it.

No, like a car, boat or airplane, a trailer that just sits also dry rots. Not willing to have that for this old girl. She'd far too nice and ready to roll.

A "new" vintage trailer someday -- probably a 28' (what I really wanted) -- and by then a pad at the house with amenities. And more tools. I'll be reading along, here at airforums & elsewhere, on this favorite topic.

So I guess you don't want to hear about the vintage Silver Streak just around the corner from me for $3K then... The owner is getting ready to sell it to some guys that want to turn it into a hunging cabin.

If you still have this trailer I'll definately want to stop by and take a peek at it before you let her go. I've been meaning to contact you but lately I've been way too tied up with trying to get my '73 Sovereign moved to somewhere I can finally work on it. I've been gutting it this week for the floor repair and to remove parts for the swap meet at the AS rally in San Antonio this weekend.

I'm not going the same direction with my AS resessitation (it's on life support now), but I hope to have the same level of quality craftsmanship evident in your pics when it's done. Ya done real good on that one!

What a gorgeous trailer. I don't think U will ever replace that trailer. I just think U should jump back and take a long look at what U are about to do.

That's a one of a kind. Im am very very sure it will never get what U have given to it.

GoMopar, I don't doubt you for a minute. But do you think you could buy that trailer and bring it up to the same standard for another $7000? And if you did how long would it take?

The more expensive trailer looks like a good deal to me considering what Rednax has put into it.

Ganaraska - I think you misunderstood the intention of my statement above about the other SS near me.

I was jokingly trying to intice REDNAX to buy another SS. You've already seen what happens to a nice vintage trailer when he gets his hands on it. It gets turned into an EXCEPTIONAL one!

REDNAX - If my statement above offended you because I didn't word it well enough to avoid confusion, then I'm very sorry. It's hard to get subtilties in humor to come across the internet clearly sometimes.
