Quick help on electrical please - new 1986 Avion, trip tomorrow

I just bought a 1986 Avion last weekend and am supposed to haul it tomorrow to UT Austin orientation. However, I just discovered I may have been operating on battery when I thought I was on 110 volt because now I have no power.

Previously the green 12 volt kill switch light was on (my bad - I didn't know that meant battery was being used) and also the red 110 light. Now the red 110 light comes on but not the green light, and I have no power.

I know I have shore power because the AC comes on when I turn it on, although I am not using it so as not to overload my house breaker.

I have been through the manual and in the electrical control power. I have not messed with fuses because I can't tell what is what there. But I have flipped all four breakers. I am attaching a photo.

This is a new converter, installed before I bought it.

Any ideas? Thanks so much.

When you say you have no power lets clarify that. There a 2 electrical systems in a trailer. 12 DC and 120 volt AC. The 12 volt system runs off the batteries ans supplies power to the lights, and control power to the frig. The 120 volt system supplies power to wall receptacles, power to the frig when it is on electric, and power to the convertor to charge the batteries.

Do you have power at a receptacle? That tells me the shore power is working.

Do you have lights? That tells me the batteries have some power. Are the lights bright? That tells me if the batteries are fully charged.

Thanks much for your reply. I've been running around trying to get this fixed and have decided to leave the new toy at home and stay in a hotel this week. I checked the battery and checked the in-line breaker in the battery. Checked the interior breakers. It appears that the converter is not charging the battery when on shore power. The 110 does work when on shore power. I thought the 12V was working but then it stopped working, which makes me think it was running on battery that whole time until the battery ran out. The battery does start to get a charge when it is hooked up to my truck, but not enough. I barely had enough charge to work the power hitch to get it up high enough to unhitch it from my truck tonight.

I will slow down and make sure all is working right before heading anywhere.
