Our SOB Little Project

Here are some shots of our little 'hobby' SOB. We picked it up last October and have been busy getting it ready for a rally next week. Of course, we're taking our Airstream to the rally, too. Our friends are kind enough to tow this one for us.......

That is too cute to call it an SOB!

Does it have any bathroom facilities?

Some SOB's are too cute to pass up. We have a 1957 Santa Fe, wood interior, little wooden screen door, seafoam green Princess stove, little gas light. Your's in one of the really cute ones too. Aren't they fun? This Santa Fe looks to be built on a frame off a Mac truck. I think it will be around for another 50 years. It's about 13ft, but doesn't have a bathroom. That's its only fault that I can see.

Nope, no official 'on board' potty, but there is one tucked away under the bed.

In case you didn't know the Serro Scotties are being made again. Saw both the 13' and 15' at the Camping World Rally in Perry, GA in March and a week or so later I went in a RV dealers to look around and they were carrying them. A bit of updating of course - they're a bit wider for instance - but otherwise they look pretty much like the originals.

Wanna see some great pics of other little old SOBs? Check out the Southwest Vintage Camper Association website for pictures of the last rally. Great old TVs too.

Thanks for all the nice compliments... We've seen the Trailer Trash Bash on the web and would LOVE to go to a rally one day.
