Thanks, I'll keep you posted. My wife Terry has agreed to play seamstress, so tonight we picked up some fabric to recreate the groovy curtains in the brochure. Hope to have updates soon!

Cool rog0525

I just stumbled and fell on this little camper. I have one exactly like it in storage. I started to revamp it and then for 10 years stopped the project. I will be going tomorrow to find out what brand I have. I have the title and it says it is a 75 play mor trailer weighing 3000 pounds. It is 13 feet long. My camper is a dead ringer for your camper. I live in Denver PA.

Sheila,

My 1964 or 65 (still trying to figure that out) Playmor is a model 140, but was re-vamped by the previous owner(s). Mine weighs about 1000 pounds, so I doubt yours is 3000. It may be that is the maximum weight it is titled at legally but not really an indication of actual weight. Mine had leakage that started to show through the inner panneling, so I am now in the process of rebuilding everything. Just finished repairing the frame and sealing the shell yesterday. Now on to the interior!

Any photos you might have would be appreciated, as I have not made final decisions on the cabinetry, and the Playmor photo is small and only from one angle. Good luck with yours!

1968 Play-Mor

Hi-

I am new to this forum but wanted to contact you because I recently bought a travel trailer just like yours. If you email Play-Mor, they will help you identify the details. Although my title says the trailer is a 1975, the serial number on the trailer hitch verifies the year, make, and model number. Mine is actually a 1968 and I am in the process of remodeling/restoring it. Since there is some water damage around the front seams of my trailer (and all of the interior is painted bright green), I am pretty much replacing the paneling, flooring, and ceiling. I am, however, staying true to the original layout and rebuilding the cabinet, table booths, and divan as they were.

I hope your trailer is progressing. I would be interested in an update if you have anything new to pass along. I am hoping that my Play-Mor is ready for use by this spring so I can test her out.

Good luck!

I hope you receive as much enjoyment from your little PlayMor as my wife and I have from ours. We completed our renovation a few years ago. Although we modified the layout slightly, we tried to keep things looking like it might have been built.

The interiot paneling was a project, but the greatest difficulty was the wall framing repairs, as the roof curvature had to be perfect for the skin to reattach correctly.

We now have a recently acquired Tradewind LandYacht we are refurbishing for a lengthy trip next year. The PlayMor has been sold to a friend.

My apologies to everyone for not updating. I've included a few pictures anyway.

-Lou
