We Got Ours Last Week

We got our new Shasta last weekend. It is not like most white box SOB's. It looks very cool. The inside feels like a vintage trailer and is very roomy for a 16 foot trailer. I towed it almost 400 miles home. It towed pretty good but my MPG was lower than when I'm towing my Caravel. We got a few thumbs up and many lookers going down the road.

My next door neighbor just brought one home last week. Red/white.

We stopped at a dealership in Knoxville that had some visible from the interstate. It was too tempting to stop and look. A very nice sales lady opened one up for us and let us take a tour. They are nice trailers and definitely have that vintage feel. Some things bothered me though. I thought the upholstery seemed pretty cheap. The flooring was interesting as they tried to imitate the old 9" tile look, but it was not really tile but one piece linoleum that was printed to look like 9" tile. I had rather have a real gas interior light than an led look alike. Just me maybe, but some of the things were a little gimmicky. I think they cut some corners to meet their price point. On the other hand it did have Coker tires and Hehr windows. I did like the trailer overall, but I will keep my Caravel.

Jewel65 I feel the same about what you are thinking. I'm not a fan of the flooring. I may change it to something else. I don't think the faux gas light is needed. The tires worry me too they are not trailer tires. They are passenger tires and I'm planning on changing them out. As I said I'm still keeping our Caravel but we are going to enjoy the new Shasta also.
