Looks like a generic "canned ham" travel trailer from the early to mid 60s to me.
Definitely not an Airstream. Let's bring Andy in here to rant awhile...

Airstream did make a "canned ham" trailer in the mid 50's or so - it was called the Wally Byam "Holiday"
Very rare

Yep! But I don't think that one is it! My understanding is that the Byam Holiday was only made for one year, 1953 IIRC

In a parallel universe, perhaps it is an Airstream, but in this one….I don’t think so!

Roger
P.S. It DOES say it was built by Wally! Is Doc Holman's '35 an Airstream?

Fred Coldwell's Presentation from the Vintage Airstream Club's 2003 Rocky Mountain Rally. The last couple of slides show a "Holiday" trailer ~

Re: Is this an Airstream?
Strangely enough, this auction ended early shortly after I emailed the seller asking for the name of the manufacturer as listed on the title. No response, but now no trailer for sale, either. Maybe it was one of those "Lost Airstreams" made by Wally Gyam...

Buyer beware...
I've seen lots of "generic silver trailers" listed as Airstreams on ebay...I think alot of people think ALL aluminum trailers must be Airstreams....either that or it's just an attention-getter for their listing ~

But by having it on the Rally Report webpage makes it "free" for everyone to enjoy ~ Fred also contributes regularly to the Vintage Advantage magazine, a extra-special benefit of membership in the VAC!

Yes Doc Hollomans trailer is an Airstream - his WBCCI number in 1935 - the same year as the trailer

Yes, Ken. I've been inside it. I met Dr. Holman Sr. prior to his passing. It was built by Doc Holman from Byam's plans in '35 prior to the first Clipper being built. Although it's accepted as an Airstream, it wasn't built by Wally. So, since it wasn't built by Wally, is it REALLY an Airstream?
What came first... the chicken or....
Is there a rhetorical answer to a rhetorical question?
