True. I never really thought about it. This is what I had a surplus of, therefore I figured I would use some of it up. Where can you get the cable you are talking about? This trailer is my practice trailer. I am learning on it. The next one will be an Airstream. I just can't decide on which one or how long.

I apologize for hijacking your thread. I have a post with this identical title and I have an Avalair, so I assumed it was my post. I think it may be on another vintage travel trailer site. What are the odds?

Avalair

Here is another pic of an Avalair. I just bought this trailer a few days ago. Most of the information I could find about these trailers suggests they were made between 1961 and 1964. This one is titled 1960.

I will post some more pics. I am excited to get started on it but I am going to wait until it cools down. It is still 100+ in Phoenix. It is fairly complete. some of the missing items I can fabricate myself. The one item I would like to find is the adjustable antenna on the front. I am assuming that will be a difficult task. For now I am just going to clean it out.

Very nice! I was eyeballing one myself but the layout wouldn't work for us so I passed it up. I haven't seen many for sale and it looks like you found a good one. Congratulations and please post lots of pictures!

They made them a lot longer than that. At least 1953-1966.
