Help Identify my new trailer please

I recently aquired this "new" trailer but am unsure about it's value, make or vintage. Anybody got any ideas?

But you've got a bad case of filliform going on.

OK finally got up under it. here's an interior shot. it's been gutted by the previous owner. in some ways that's good- kind of a clean slate! might be a problem with rodent control though. have to address that in the restoration.

yes it's got wheels though it doesn't look highway safe. have to check that torsion axle for wear.

I think i may have a replica and not an original. anybody know what make/model this might be replicating?

Looks like you'll need a little frame work and new belly pan.

I think you'll need to get rid of the clear coat before you can polish it.

That is a very interesting toy or model. Inside shows the name Midgetoy Rockford Illinois. Possibly a competitor to the better known Tootsietoy brand.

From the appearance I would date the design about 1952. Just about contemporary with "The Long Long Trailer" movie.

Cool i thought it might have been 50's . I also found this newer model. it may be a little less restoration work.
