Rednax just sold a "perfect" early 80s 32 foot or 34 foot model. He had a price of $10,000 on it and it took about 6 months to sell.
Sold in four months, not perfect (some exterior dents, needed hard-to-find door hinges, that sort of thing); but, interior was nearly unbelievable. Now at Leakey, TX owned by a fine couple from Houston.
Prices on Silver Streak, Avion and Streamline can be deceptive. It is rare to find a really great one (unlike A/S; a question of quantity, only), so the market is to the buyer.
$11,000 is not out of the question, not by any means, for a shorter trailer. There was recently one in the Pacific NW that was advertised higher than this, and appeared worth it by any standard.
The seller is advised to take more, and better, photographs. I had a number of people make 400-mile roundtrips to see mine because of photos posted online andthat I sent out a CD with over 110-photos and 5,000-words of text (mainly just descriptive photo captions).
Obviously, this is not the market to sell a trailer of this sort compared to a few years ago. Had it been, I would have done some repairs and a few upgrades ($2000 or so, my labor) and listed at $16,000.
That is a good-looking trailer, and easily worth a good deal more than $6000. But, from there to $11,000 Cdn, it will be a matter of better marketing.
