Curtis Wright progress update
The Curtis Wright is coming together nicely. I have finished the floor, insulation, wiring, copper propane lines, and riveting inside and out. I installed a bra using olympic rivets that covered dents in the front. I think it came out looking really nice. The nasty dent on the endcap came out pretty nicely after pushing it out from the inside with an old car jack. Perfect it is not but so much better than it was! I will have the inside skin prepped and ready for paint on Monday. Painting will be done next Saturday. All interior, cabinet, and kitchen parts have been removed and will be painted separately. I chose to install the windows front and back so that the inside window frames will be painted in place. I think they would get scratched up a bit if I installed the windows after painting. I will be masking them off carefully. I think, once painted, the fun will begin! Paint color will probably be an off white or beige. Here are a few pictures of what has been accomplished in the last month or so.
