Curtis Wright Industries
I am looking for an article titled "Wright Enters Third Year" beginning on page 55 in the July 1946 issue of Trail-R-News magazine discussing "Curtis Wright Industries" trailer production.
Very little info is available via general internet sources with regards to the man named "Curtis Wright" vs. the Glenn Curtiss-Wright brothers corporation. Both were airplane manufacturers. The Curtiss-Wright Corp. is often confused as the manufacturer of the 1947-1949 Clipper trailer. Which by all accounts is not true.
We all know the history of the partnership. Who is Curtis Wright (with one "s"), the man. What is his legacy with airplanes, and more importantly, how did he decide to make trailers, and how many were actually made?
The reference to the above requested article may help shed some light on the subject. Does anyone have access to a copy for reference?
