Curtis Wright Floor in

Hey all. I finished installing the floor of the CW today. All of the sub floor structure was repaired and reenforced. The main tube was rust reformed and is solid and in great shape. The floors are 1/2" exterior ply with Thompson Water Seal applied to both sides. These have been screwed into the outriggers. The C Channel was screwed to the plywood. The floor is sound and very nice! The entrance step is done but I still have to finish and screw the trim in place. I am very pleased with the outcome of this floor. I will be putting an excellent commercial carpet in once I have the completed the inside. Here are a few pictures of the floor before and after. The after pictures don't show the screws I put in later. Chris

It does feel great! I feel like I can start to finish up the interior for paint. Painting will happen in three weeks. After that, it's installing all of the cabinets, stove, ice box, lights, etc. In other words, all the fun stuff! All the structural stuff is so unglamorous!
