Crusty windows on the CW

I have started working on the CW crusty windows. I found that Simple green really works! First, spray it on and let it soak for a while. Then, wipe off the nasty sludge. Spray again and scrub with a burgundy colored 3M scratch pad. Rinse. Spray aluminum brightener on the metal and work it in with 4/0 steel wool. Rinse. Voila! much cleaner windows! Chris

That does look good, if you can find some aluminum wool rather steel it'll stay good longer (in theory). :-)
