Bowlus Trailer site

For your viewing pleasure. A great site on Bowlus trailers and the restoration of one.

Thanks, I really think I want one of these...

Bowlus Motor Chief

I am not sure if Bowlus ever built these, but it sure is cool. Predates the RV industry by approximately 50 years. Like Buckminister Fuller's Dymaxion the Motor Chief has a Ford V8 motor in the rear. Also it is extremely lightweight for a 30 ft long vehicle. The bathroom is at the back and has a shower. Amazing, wonder if one will ever show up.

I bet with the proper chassis available, one could be built by Frank's Trailer Works.
