Well here's something you Avion owners might get a kick out of. It's a Travelux, built in Canada by 2 people who had previously worked for Avion. It has a 5" frame and came with storm windows for those cool Canadian nights. This one is a 1973 20'. They were built for maybe 10 years.

Question for you Avion owners. On a 30 or 34 foot model what us the ball height? About a 1984 year. Going to pick one up and just need a ball park figure. Thanks, jim

Should be in brochure info on Dr Gradeless site.

1984 brochure says 9'11" with roof air on a 35'

I can't find my "note to self", but without hitching up the trailer I'm guessing 17"-18"... ??

WOW! That's going to take some kind of rise shank to get that ball at 9'11" high.

Thanks for the help. Dr Gradeless emailed and said he thought it was nineteen inches. About the same as an AS. Again, thanks. Peace jim

Great find!! In just about three years it has gone from being near common to near unlikely to find a good or better condition vintage kin.

Jim,

Sweet 84 man! Nice! Aren't these trailers great??!!!

Man my '87 is sitting in the driveway crying because I'm not out in it partying. My latest mods include the 32" Panasonic Flat Screen with the 400 watt sound system (300W sound bar with a 100W subwoofer that I located inside the cabinet so it eats up no space.....SWEEEEEETTTT!!!!!!).

I've towed mine to Maine, to Florida, and everywhere in between. Not sure where to pull her next. Wife wants to go to Mackinac Island in Michigan....I didn't think there was anything in MI that I wanted to see. But, maybe we can work that in with a trip to the Oshkosh Fly-In in Wisconsin. Could be cool. Besides...I like cheese

Avion built a really nice trailer. I only wish I'd found out before.... I was an Airstream snob earlier and looked down upon all Silver Trailers that weren't sold by Wally. Well, I learned better

I like all silver trailers. Every time I go and look at a 40' 5th wheel toy hauler and think "Man look at all the room....and my HOG will fit in the back...." I realize "How many of them are 20 years old and still on the road?" NONE!

Long Live The Silver!

See ya on the road, pulling SILVER!
